The trust model

Four verbs your firm can stand behind

Every workflow in Mubadara.ai runs on the same strict division of labour — so you always know where a number came from and who answered for it.

AI drafts

Documents read, journals suggested, narratives drafted — always labelled, never a final number.

The rules engine computes

Tax, balances, ZATCA checks and IFRS figures come from deterministic, versioned rules — not a language model.

A person reviews and signs

Nothing posts, finalises or goes out the door without a review gate.

The platform remembers

Evidence, citations and an append-only audit trail you could hand to a regulator.

In the interface the line is visible at all times: AI drafts appear in purple, deterministic facts are neutral — a suggestion is not a fact.

“If something goes out wrong, who answers for it?”

You do — which is exactly why nothing posts or leaves the firm without a person signing it. The append-only audit trail records who did what, when, and with which rule version — in a form you could hand to a regulator.

Reviewing accountants

“Will reviewing AI make my day longer?”

Review happens at purpose-built gates. Every draft carries its evidence and citations back to the exact spot on the source document, so checking is faster than redoing — the demo shows a review gate at 1:07.

IT & compliance

“Where does the data live, and who can see it?”

In-Kingdom residency, per-firm isolation with per-firm encryption keys, and a PDPL-aligned cross-border gate. The trust page lays out the full model, level by level.

FAQ

The questions firms ask first

Is the AI making accounting judgements?

No. The AI reads documents, drafts journals and writes narratives — always labelled as suggestions. Tax, balances, ZATCA checks and IFRS figures come from a deterministic, versioned rules engine, and nothing is final until a person at your firm reviews and signs it. Judgement and accountability stay human — by design.

Where does our data live? Does it comply with PDPL?

Structured business data — ledgers, documents and the audit trail — stays in the Kingdom, in Riyadh. During the pilot, limited text may be sent to AI models through a cross-border gate that classifies the data and strips or pseudonymises personal information first; secrets like ZATCA certificates never leave. This is aligned with PDPL and SDAIA cross-border rules, and the terms are written into the agreement.

Is the ZATCA integration real or simulated?

During the pilot it is a sandbox: invoices are rules-checked before submission with the same deterministic rules and error codes as ZATCA, but nothing is actually submitted. You get the full error-catching value with zero risk while you evaluate. Real submission is a later, gated step.
